I am the resident teacher at the Green River Zen Center in Greenfield, Massachusetts and also a Founding Teacher of the Zen Peacemaker Order. I worked for several years in linking and training spiritually-based social activists and peacemakers in the US, Europe and the Middle East. During the 1980s and the 1990s I worked with the Yonkers-based Greyston Mandala and have also participated actively in various bearing witness retreats. I wrote and edited books and articles on the dharma, and over the past five years have returned to writing fiction.
